Job Description

• Technician II will be responsible for the (EAST) RIO GRANDE VALLEY, TEXAS area cell sites.
• On Call Rotational Coverage for the Rio Grande Valley area will be required.
• Occasional travel for training outside of area.
• At least 3 years’ relevant experience required.
• Responsible for staying current in technical theory, application, and operational discipline.
• Takes on technical and project-related efforts, providing communication as directed.
• The Technician II has a solid understanding of theory and application related to project management, radio access networks, backhaul to sites (NOKIA CSR), microwave, signaling, disaster recovery planning and response, data services, Ethernet and FIBER OPTIC troubleshooting and testing. The Technician II has a basic understanding of theory and application related to network design, capacity planning, power systems AC/DC, and grounding.
• NOKIA 2G, 3G, 4G LTE experience a must. NOKIA 5G experience preferred.
• Mileage approved starting from worksite.
• The candidate must reside in the Rio Grande Valley or be willing to relocate there. Brownsville or Harlingen, TX is a good point of reference.
