Job Description

• Minimum 4 years in a RF Engineer position responsible for the planning of a cellular network.
• Must be creative and able to think outside of the box.
• Apply sound judgment to provide answers to design questions.
• Use all tools and data sources to evaluate the different design options.
• Must be able to effectively manage workflow and time management to complete a wide variety tasks on schedule. Important to prioritize tasks daily to meet deadlines.
• RF Engineer must have the ability to interface with cross-functional team members to communicate technical information and gain understanding and support for new network plans and requirements.

Minimum Required Skills / Competencies:

• Must have recent LTE Design experience with a solid understanding of RF propagation principles, cellular theory, RF engineering tools and antenna theory.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong computer skills. Oracle DB, Excel macros and SQL programming a plus.
• Needs very good MapInfo and ASSET skills.
• Self-motivated and ability to work under pressure. Education and Experience: BS in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or equivalent technical degree; or equivalent work experience required.
