Job Description & Responsibilities:

• Provide Daily UTRAN Support for FE’s, GC’s & TC’s. Perform Pre/Post checks as required.
• Lock/Unlock all carriers on the site, as necessary.
• Support troubleshooting efforts by Tiger Teams/ GCs.
• Responsible for the validation of live carrier alarms.
• Overall responsibility for RAN network element technical issue handling.
• Perform problem analysis on PIM/RSSI/VSWR and clearing alarm and troubleshooting UMTS, LTE. Configuration and Parameter changes and new feature addition i.e., RET, RRU Upgrade, TMA etc. Responsible for the coordination with GC/TC for new site build, carrier adds having complications and/or existing carrier degradation caused by cell site activities.
• Provide consultation and support to customers on technical matters related to LTE RAN.
• Perform RAN and RF parameter and feature testing and verification.

Technically competent with Nokia Products and tools

• Good customer facing skills experience who can help build customer trust.
• Has deep Nokia product & OSS knowledge, understanding of RF KPIs& RFDS.
• Understand the implementation of the Nokia product configuration / integration work for RAN Nodes (gNb/eNB/BBU/RRH).   
• GSM/UMTS/LTE/5G network optimization and troubleshooting processes knowledge and experience with Nokia RAN Products

Qualifications:

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field plus 3 years of experience. 
• Requires 3 + years of UTRAN Engineering experience.
