Wireless Network Security, Project Manager
Main responsibilities:
- Lead project management, planning, communication and execution in wireless security initiatives
- Management of Wireless Asset Inventory project
- Interface with Network Security on Asset Management auto-discovery program and project manage the Wireless component
- Coordinate asset management interface with other Bell AM platforms
- Lead O/S Currency and Patching Program for Wireless
- Server inventory
- EOL server upgrades
- Document progress in Confluence, JIRA
- Determine relevant metrics and produce reports
- Track improvement month-over-month
- Inventory of all Network Elements
- Mapping of Applications to Servers to Owners in AM
Other related activities:
- Schedule and organize kick-off meetings with different groups
- Organize meetings with asset owners and leaders of several business units
- Order equipment
- Create and update the project plan
- Ensure the project runs smoothly and escalate issues to minimize impact to targets
- Participate actively to agile ceremonies
- Daily/weekly reporting within team and to management
Required qualifications/skills:
- 5+ years experience in program/project management or coordination
- PMP certification
- Experience in cyber security, information security, networking and data centers highly valued
- Possess excellent Microsoft application skills (Excel, Powerpoint, Project)
- Excellent skills at documenting meeting minutes and project progress
- Must be analytical and critical thinking
- Must be able to anticipate needs of internal clients
- Excellent social skills and empathy
- Must be a team player
- Must be driven in meeting objectives and getting the job done
