The General Accountant will be involved in different accounting processes. Reporting to the Senior Manager, they will perform a variety of tasks:

• Record and reconcile financial transactions
• Reconcile GL accounts and investigate open items and present for review
• Document evidence for SOX controls
• Review leases and their valuation based on IFRS16 guidelines
• Preform Fixed Asset accounting using SAP AA subledger
• Assist in financial close and reporting
• Assist in internal and external audits
• Other Ad hoc reporting

Critical qualifications / competencies would include:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• Proficient PC skills, advanced Excel is a must
• ERP experience such as SAP preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to details and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple requests
