Job Description

Function as a technical contributor within and occasionally outside my immediate team. Responsible for staying current in technical theory, application, and operational discipline. Take on technical and project-related efforts, providing communication as directed. I have a solid understanding of theory and application related to project management, core networks, transport, signaling and interface protocols, disaster recovery planning and response, data services, and location-based services. I have a basic understanding of theory and application related to the radio access network, network design, capacity planning, fire suppression systems, power systems AC/DC, and HVAC.
Responsibilities :
Technical support: Providing technical support within and occasionally outside the immediate team. Provides technical support in network performance initiatives, and outage resolution and works to identify day-to-day improvement opportunities
Project management: Taking on smaller projects or portions of key projects / initiatives, providing accurate status and progress updates as requested. Equipment upgrades and decommissions at switch sites
Fault ticket updating and time management
Operations: Identifying and sharing potential process improvements and recommending them to Team Leaders and/or management for consideration. Providing input on process improvements related to maintenance and repair activities. Assisting in the creation of job aids, scopes of work, method/statement of procedure, and helpful tools by collaborating closely with Team Leaders.
Continuous learning: Enrolled in and completed training requirements to stay current on existing and new systems and products, grow skills, and expand proficiency in company values and organizational requirements.
Facilities Management: Monitor and rectify building and equipment issues within switches and offices. Consult with eternal companies to progress work.
