Technical knowledge of CDMA/EVDO and LTE/Volte technologies
New app setup eg. Geyser or Solo, Autocall for in device log collection and uploading directly from test device onto customer preferred location
• Help in verification of new Iperf servers port assignments, reservation of ports for XRO sever
• RF attribute verification from XCAL during active field testing
• Identify and resolve UE, testing software issues and report in real time
• Familiarity with Device debug mode, HP to normal UE power identification in real time operation
• Configure drive test date collection equipment (XCAL) according to engineer parameters
• Perform Data collection on LTE, VOLTE, 5G/NR network – both stationery and drive testing
• Perform calibration, verification and live drive testing of E-911 service
• Plot sites and drive test routes utilizing navigation SWs or apps
• Execute cluster drives and re-drives tests, stationary tests and speed tests
• Successfully executed Acceptance Test Performance (ATP) drive test, monitored handovers, and Speed test for base stations and customer locations and documented test results
• Verify the diversity and coverage for new sites on air
• Check for poor coverage and cell interference
• Verify overshooting sectors and recommending electoral down-tilt
• Perform maintenance and troubleshooting for XCAL, scanner(s), devices, and document test results
• Analyze and recommended neighbor List/ Parameter changes based on MapInfo plots
• All tests performed in line with safety requirements and outlined procedures for all set-up to be completed in a parked state in a safe location. Data not actively being reviewed and interpreted during test.

Qualifications:
• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering; Masters Degree a plus; 3-5 years work experience in the wireless industry
• Demonstrated problem solving skills via prior work experience. Experience with wireless infrastructure provider and/or operator is desired.
• A solid understanding of RF fundamentals and data network protocols
• Technical knowledge of CDMA/EVDO and LTE/Volte technologies
• Experience with parameter optimization, testing, drive-data and peg count analysis is required
• Must have a strong work ethic, integrity and work extremely well in a team environment
• Must have an aptitude for creativity and innovation
• Programming knowledge and experience a plus: PERL, VBA, PHP
• DAS and In Building experience a plus
• Working knowledge of Base Station Vendor equipment (Samsung, Alcatel Lucent, Ericsson)
• Proficient in the use of Mapping Software, such as, MapInfo
• Experience with RF propagation planning tools a plus
• Advanced working experience on Microsoft Excel, Power Point and Access Database
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
